Round awl wood

With the wooden round awl you can poke holes in your leather or widen existing holes. In contrast to the ergonomic awl from Prym, the tip does not taper so sharply that the holes are evenly sized (2 mm), even if the awl is pierced deeper into the leather.

This is super practical for pre-punching the holes for sewing by hand for your own small leather projects or for enlarging existing holes in more stubborn leather so that sewing with the saddle stitch is easier.

It is best to use a cork block that is at least 2 cm thick (e.g. trivet) or soft wood as a base.
